Lovely Chateaux, lots of character and the restaurant was fabulous. The room would benefit from an extra light as the lamps were small.

Terrible expensive stay.
We have stayed in many chateau’s over the years in France but this was the worst.
The room was dreadful, no room in the bathroom carpet disgusting light outside the window all night so unable to sleep.
No lounge area or chairs to sit and drink with friends.
No atmosphere in restaurant and food very expensive and it was clear we weren’t wanted!!
The staff on reception very cheerful and helpful.
Overall a terrible expensive experience

This will always be a 3 star hotel. Staff were nice but breakfast was a disaster, coffee machine broke down twice! Food came out piecemeal at best. Room very small but grounds were lovely

Beautiful hotel but check your bill v carefully!!
Beautiful hotel- bit outdated in some respects but that added to the overall charm. Only downside was restaurant charging a la carte prices rather than the set menu. At reception paying the next morning, someone else had exactly the same problem. Delayed our checkout as we had to run through every expense and correct the bill. Make sure you check the bill on checkout in detail… a la carte pricing seems to be a try on theme sadly!! We’d also been charged for breakfast and hadn’t had breakfast!

Very nice but not really a « chateau. » No assistance with baggage and no elevator. A bit of a wait for breakfast. Very thankful for their honesty in keeping a forgotten article behind and alerting us to that.

Tired rooms but EXCELLENT food
Food was excellent. Room was ‘tired’ but the food more than compensated. Would definitely stay again.

A cup of tea in the morning!
Very nice but in need of a bit of updating. Lovely comfortable bed and good restaurant. Staff mostly friendly and helpful and those that speak English are fluent. We were given a kettle to make a cup of tea in the morning which was much appreciated. The dogs were welcomed and allowed in the restaurant.

Absolutely gorgeous place!
Absolutely gorgeous château in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quaint restaurant on-site has incredible food. The hotel itself is pretty dated (no elevator, small rooms, outdated furnishings), but it's worth it for the bucolic charm.

Great service, clean and quite hotel room.
The staff were very nice and accommodating, for all requests and questions from me. The room was clean and quite. There is a decent restaurant at the hotel, while the neighborhood is relatively quite.

So much nicer than a chain Hotel.
Enjoyed a stop over on route to a classic car Studebaker Rally. Easy to find from the auto-route, plenty of safe secure parking. Arrived to a warm welcome and clean comfortable rooms, within a few minutes we were enjoying a cold beer in front of the hotel. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the attached restaurant. What more does any traveller require?

Lovely setting
Very pleasant hotel with good facilities. Very convenient for Giverny. The on site restaurant was good, service attentive and professional. The gardens needed a tidy and looked a bit tired.

Convenient overnight stop near Giverny
Hotel easy to find in a pleasant setting. It was full and we had the furthest (reasonably spacious) attic room on the second floor - no lift.
The big gardens provide a good place for kids - there were a number staying while we were there.
Very quiet as set back from the road.

Good but could improve.
Good location, good food. Room satisfactory but not luxurious. Breakfast room was cramped, and some food ran out before end of service.
