5 stars but 4 due to lack of social ambience
Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel’s standard room. Beautiful marble lobby, less than stellar waiting area(felt ikea like). No bar. For a standard room, it was pretty basic. Nothing special. Clean. Friendly staff. No amenities as far as social interactions/bar. For a hotel on the Chicago riverfront I feel like you would expect a little more. I’ve had better stays at random Hilton’s in Hamptons in the middle of nowhere. That being said, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It just seemed to lack more of a social presence.

Perfect location - great hotel
This is the perfect hotel for a stay in Chicago. Transport to the all lines round the corner, including for the airport. Walking distance to the theatre district, Navy Pier, Wrigley Building etc. The staff are amazing, always welcome you back and approachable for guidance of the city. Pedro especially was so kind. The bed is very comfy, shower powerful and a clean spacious room. I'd come back here again every time.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean, and up to date. My room was kind of situated in a duck off location, which was private and quiet. The only thing that kind of made me feel uneasy was that there were no cameras in the hallway leading to my room. But overall everything went smooth. Valet was prompt. I also liked the hydration station they had on each floor, where you could get a water bottle and fill it up. I would stay again.
