Quality Inn & Suites Baton Rouge West – Port Allen

The place appeared clean but we had a roach in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk to ask to have the bathroom sprayed, I was handed a can of roach spray. That’s fine if I’m at home to handle something like that myself, but I felt the staff should have been more responsive. Bed was too bouncy, you could feel when the other person turned over. The room look ok but dated. The place needs to be remodeled not just repainted.

Well... we had to switch rooms due to the first one was disghsting. It had spider webs. The bathroom was so gross that I was even scared to take a bath. So I went to complain at desk. She switched me and my kids in a better room. But the hotel needs extra work. Dead roaches in the lobby. I would not stay there again.

I was given a smoking room. It stunk. Just gross.

The staff was friendly but the first room they put us in was dirty. The floors looked like it had not been vacuumed and when we pulled back the covers/sheets there were stains and stuff in the bed that I could not identify. I went down to the lobby and told the young lady at the desk. She said she was sorry and put us in a different room. The second room was a little better. The bedding was clean but the bathroom towel rack was rusted. The rust was on the back of the toilet. You could tell that the rooms had not been updated in a very long time. All of the rooms were outside. There was a very large construction container not far from our room full of trash and it smelled.
