ARC THE.HOTEL, Washington DC

Overall they stay was good. I had to request the robes that were supposed to be in the room and I also had to request new towels due to no housekeeping. Which also meant trash piled up as well. There are no microwaves in the rooms but one is available downstairs. The service from the staff was great. Everyone always greeted me with a smile and pleasant tone. Parking wasn’t hard to find either. The rooms were clean with soft beds and an interesting view.

The staff at The Arc are amazing and so very helpful. Overall, the room is nice, but the heating/cooling could definitely be updated.

Me, my wife and daughter staying here at the ARC Hotel for 2 nights. The customer service was good and the hotel employees were friendly. However, the TV wasn't working in the room, so we had to switch rooms. In the new room, the TV worked but the heat would only turn on high and we could not control the temperature. Also, there was a large wet spot in the middle of the room. Pet urine? I don't know, but it was yellow when I used a towel to pick it up. They need to take better care at the maintenance of this hotel. Also, there were NO vending machines whatsoever. Seriously?

Check in was great, room was nice and spacious. We turn on the tv, and see that Netflix and other streaming services are supposed to be available, however it does not load when you click it. Luckily, we had brought our Amazon Firestick from home. But, the tv is so stuck to the wall and hard to maneuver we could barely get the HDMI cord in. After about 30-40 minutes of trying, we finally get it connected, but the volume does not work. After all these things, we call the front desk, and they say the “engineer” has left and won’t be back until tomorrow at noon. The next day, the engineer doesn’t come to our room until 2pm, after me having to remind the front desk countless times for him to come to our room. Even though he got the tv’s Netflix to work, I would not stay here again. It would take forever for us to reconnect the Netflix whenever we turned the tv off, and it was just extremely frustrating. This may seem like a small issue, but all hotel rooms have are TVs and beds. So when one of those don’t work, it’s kinda a big deal. Also, the walls are extremely paper thin. If you don’t care about the TV, then sure I recommend. But I will not be back.

The water pressure in the bathroom was very low. Hardly any water wad coming from the sink.

Amazing staff that makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Location is excellent with plenty of places to go to shop or eat a short walk or Uber away. The hotel is tucked into a nice residential area and blends with its surroundings. Inside is done in a contemporary fashion with big, clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.

first when booked hotel it stated there was parking..only to find out once we got there, there wasn't any had to park off site... water flow for shower, sink was very low..... no room service (fresh towels, bed made...ect.) however the staff was wonderful
