Life Hotel NoMad

If you're looking for an option conveniently located in Manhattan this is an opportune choice . Something to factor in is that space is fairly limited within these rooms so if you're one to travel with a large amount of belongings you may want to consider elsewhere. The hotel has an older feel to it but it is cozy and what it may lack in luxuries is made up for with service and location.

Our room was not ready to check in and when we came back the front desk asked us to wait in the seating area (across the foyer) for a minute and then they would come get us. After about 5 minutes, they leaned over the desk and hollered "Maam, Maam" -

False advertising about hotel restaurant and bar, as well as “Resort Fee” inclusions

The hotel seems to be financial failing. In the first room we were given the lights didn’t work and they put in a floor light. We asked for a new room but the electric keys they gave us for the next two rooms didn’t work. We finally got a room that opened but the toilet didn’t work. However the person they sent to fix it was great and really helpful. The restaurant also wasn’t open and we were never told about where the tea and coffee facilities where located.

Bathroom was dirty when I got there. Lights didn’t work I’ve the bed. Toilet ran constantly and I had to take the lid off the tank every time it was used to try to repair. Staff did not listen when I said I needed extra time for check out and called and had housekeeping knock on the door and try to enter when I had the do not disturb sign on the door. for $500-600 a night this was not worth it and will not be going back.
