Hotel Louvre Saint Honoré

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. Easy walking to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Seine and centre of Paris. It’s surrounded by cafes and patisseries. It’s not what you’d picture from main stream hotels with it being spread across 7 floors in 2 small towers serviced by 2 small elevators. The staff are wonderful.

We arrived at 10:00 pm to the cheerful greeting of Jacques. Very friendly and gave us all the information we needed for the next day-breakfast, how to arrive at our first destination in Paris. However when we arrived at our room (I was there with my 38 year old son) it was not what we requested and had confirmation (twin beds and NOT a queen). Jaques ran to get linens to make up the sofa bed (which was not made up). He then promised to have the room readied the next day and so it was. We received a beautiful gift from the hotel manager for the discomfort caused on our first nite. And so my response in the questionnaire for great service. At the same time somewhere our email requests were not taken care off. Don’t know where the mistake was made but once discovered at our check in, the staff and especially Jacques, were excellently, professionally, and graciously handled. MERCI Jacques.

The younger gentleman who checked us in around 11pm was sort of cold and not helpful at all. We called down and asked for an iron and he told us we could come get it, and then when we asked him to bring it up he said he would but never did. The WiFi also didn’t work on the top floors which was pretty inconvenient. The location is great. I wish the staff was nicer so I would feel comfortable booking again.

Quick trip to Paris, nice room Great restaurant next door, walking distance to the Louvre museum

Stayed 4 nights. The room was smaller than expected but clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The decor is bland but we chose this hotel primarily for its 4* rating, price and central location. Did not use the restaurant so cannot comment. Friendly and courteous staff. Despite the lack of charm and character, I would consider using this hotel again as a base next time I am in Paris for the reasons mentioned above.

Great hotel and perfect location near the louvre.

Hotel is literally a hole in the wall. Room overlooks an alley. Breakfast included was not true. Desk clerk told us we would have to have breakfast somewhere down the street. Had to pay 40 euros for something that was supposed to be included. Room is overpriced badly for what you get. TV has no english options.

The location and staff are great but there is only 1 lift and it is very tiny, for a 4 stars hotel. You can only fit 2 adults and a suitcase or 3 adults. The corridor is super cramped and the room is small for the price we paid. Could get a bigger room elsewhere with the amount we spent. Picture upon booking was misleading. Great locations for tourists though its walking distance to the Lourve, Notre Dame, shopping & metro station. That's the only perk for us.

Great little place, close to the Louvre

The bathroom door lock malfunctioned and I was locked inside from around three hours on the first night. The hotel manager was not prepared for the situation and it took him a long time to find a locksmith who could break the lock. Then the locksmith started changing the lock at 4am pursuant to instructions from management. When I complained that they could do this work during the day, he had to go back and discuss with management. Earlier in the day the safe got stuck and I was not able to retrieve my belongings—again the hotel manager was not prepared, couldn’t find the manual explaining how to open the safe. I was told by the manager that I would not be charged for that night. I don’t normally write reviews, but decided to make an exception when the hotel is now refusing to honor their promise.
