Hotel La Bourdonnais

Nice hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. Tiny, tiny room, even by Paris standards. I think I was unlucky, as my travel companions had larger rooms. Usually I wouldn't mind, but this room was so small that it was a hassle getting dressed and situated.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Friendly staff, quiet street (some traffic noise which is expected). Supermarket right next to the hotel, and the hotel bar had happy hour between 6 pm-9pm (a little busy while we were there). Did not have the breakfast, so I cannot comment on it, but it was 19 euro per person if you did not book in advance. Clean and nice room, modern interior, the only thing I can point my finger on is that we did not get any refill on bathroom articles during our stay (four nights), which I am used to from other hotels. The wi-fi connection was not good in our room, but that didn't really bother us as we have free use of 3G in Europe. We asked for a room with street view, which we got and we were very happy with! The eiffel tower was located right down the street, and the Ecoile Militaire Metro station was about one minute walking distance from the hotel. With decent shoes, it is possible to walk all the way up to Sacré-Cœur, Moulin Rouge, Louvre etc. A lot of great shopping nearby as you cross the Seine river. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I come back to Paris!

When we got to the hotel, we were brought to a beautiful room with the view of the Eiffel Tower, it was perfect, until we found out the bathroom was broken. We were later moved to a different room, not as great but at least the bathroom was fixed. All in all it was a great hotel in a good location. I would stay there again. Please note that the walls are very thin, and we had to call the reception desk a few times to tell the people in the next room to tone down their screaming and loudness. All in all, I would stay there for the cleanliness, accommodations, as well as location.

Brilliant hotel, very clean and very central. Eiffel Tower was about a 5 minute walk, I could see it from our hotel room. Would definitely recommend this hotel as there is nothing bad about it and would definitely stay here if I ever visit Paris again.
