Terrible Disgusting Never Again!
We came to Isla Mujeres for a short weekend trip, (We live in PDC). Whilst we appricate the hotel was only $160 for the night including taxes and breakfast, we would have expected at least some sort of standards. The hotel was outdated and barely standing. The majorty of the rooms were being used as construction storage. The actual room where we stayed was very basic. Even to the most money savvy backpacker this would be beneath them. The bathroom had no door nor any shower door. Instead there was two razor sharp hinges where the door should be in place. The floor was covered in dust from the construction below. The bed sheets and towels were all rust stained and in need of replacing. The breakfast, was beyond basic. Coffee or Juice (which was actually watered down orange favoring added to a luke warm bottle) The coffee was stone cold and when we asked for hot coffee we were told that we should have came down earlier (we were there at 10am) considering breakfast only started at 8am. We hastenly abandoned the breakfast and checked out. As we we were only there for one night and had allready spent a considerable amount of money on the room, we regretfully kept the reservation. A fair warning to all potential hotel custmers. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
