Dauphine Orleans Hotel

Great location near Bourbon street but suite at the same time.

I guess I was disappointed because the hotel had such good reviewes when we booked. The bar, pool and breakfast area was closed when we were there. There was a smal bar in the back of the hotel which was not very nice and we had to go partially through the garage to get there! The rooms are old and the carpets are worne down. The furniture is also old and worne. There is no isolation in the walls and windows which is unusual for us Europeans. Very noisy though out the night with people and trucks. If you are a family, stay uptown not French quarters.

Great location and friendly staff. The rooms was nice and included all what you would expect (safe, bathroom amenities). Dont expect a large breakfast, but you get what you need for a quick bite. Tips: If Burbon street (which is close-by) gets a bit too hectic, go to Frenchmen street. Less tourists and neon lights, and more locals.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we were very happy with the location of the hotel. It is close to everything, and the staff was helpfull and nice :)

This hotel is outstanding. Not only was the room spotlessly clean, the bed was one of the best beds I've ever slept in. The breakfast buffet was nice, the hotel has also a pool and a beautiful backyard. All employees were extremely friendly and flexible and helpful at all times. I can highly recommend this hotel.
