Holiday Inn Express Springfield

Liked. People very helpful! Not liked. Dispensers in shower/tub empty. Good to get rid of small individual bottles for ecological reasons but doing so demands that cleaning staff pay heed to fill levels. Not liked. Door security lock broken.

Front desk staff was friendly, courteous and smiley! I forgot a few incidental things and they had it right up to me after requesting it! Room was spacious, clean and fully stocked!

I made a reservation several months ago at this hotel. I specifically requested a room with a king size bed. After my husband and I dragged our luggage in we found the room had a queen size bed. The space was obviously set up for a king bed as the night stands didn’t fit the bed space. Also, the room felt grubby.

Loud and under construction. Paper thin walls and huge doors that slam and echo throughout the hallway. Breakfast bar without food and coffee for extended period. Generally love HIE-not this one. Looked like it was in transition.

Easy to find and clean. Quick check in.. Friendly.

First off, the staff are excellent and very friendly. But, the hotel itself is subpar. Simply getting in and registered was difficult. the front door is badly designed and hard toget into with a cart or a wheelchair. Then the luggage carts are long way from the front door, requiring a long search forthem. The hotel room was overly heated and we had to call someone to come fix the hvac. It never worked well and we woke up feeling too hot and exhausted. We were in a handicap accessible room that was poorly designed especially the bathroom. In short, I was glad we only had to stay one night. Nice staff, but the hotel was not worth it.

The property itself was not too bad, but you could tell that is was an older hotel they had refurbished. The heating and cooling system did not work in our room and it was very hot in the room. The breakfast was very good and had lots of healthy choices. The hotel staff was also very professional.

Bathroom was outdated. Shower curtain loose from wall. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut because the frame had become so warped. Other than the bathroom needing some TLC the room was fine

The room was comfortable and fairly quiet. I would prefer not to be on the first floor.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast served.
