First off, we originally were going to stay for one night but ended up deciding once we arrived in Bruges to stay two. Although the budget room we booked was not able for the following night, we were able to book are regular double for not very much more. Staff was very accommodating with us having to move rooms from night to night, even moving our stored bags to the other room for us so they would be in the new room when we got back.
The bar is quaint and cozy and there is water bottle refill dispenser in the lobby! There is a vending machine (takes tap to pay cards) with water, snacks, sodas, and beer as well.
First the budget room. So cute and had amazing views out the skylight windows. It’s very fun having a real key to get in and out of the room. We loved it but if you are tall (6ft+) this room might be a little claustrophobic.
The second room was beautiful! (Also uses a real key) Less stunning views but much more space. It was the most comfortable stay we had in Belgium. The linens in both rooms were comfortable and it’s the only hotel we got two pillows each without having to request an additional pillow.
This hotel is in an old building that has obviously been updated very nicely but the walls are thin, you can hear people walking up and down the stairs (bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper). There are steep stairs but also an elevator. The halls are lit by motion sensor lights that turn off when no one is in the hall.
