Sad to see
Place has went downhill over the years, sad to see it fall from its glory when it was the Country Club. Place is old needs massive remodel and wreaks of Marijuana smell, staff doesn’t seem to mind or care. I have stayed here for 25yrs and this stay will be my last, so sad to see the decline

Hope you like the smell of Marijuana
The whole hotel smelled of Marijuana, hallways smelled. I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn’t smoke so how does every hall reek of Marijuana smoke. The place has fell from its former glory as the Country Club. Sad to see, my 20 years of coming here has came to an end

The room suite was clean and nice. No other services available that I am aware or was informed about. No coffee bar or place in hotel to get any food or drink. Maybe it’s a work in progress??

Hotel ground are terrible, completely run down and not cared for. Room it self was okay. Coffee shop… Close, restaurant… Close, pool… Closed. The resort looked completely deserted. Would not stay here again!

When we arrived, we had difficulty putting our deposit down because our credit card was used through Expedia and the clerk that helped us did not know how to get around. It just kept on saying that our credit card was declined. When we got to our room, the television kept on asking me for my Amazon account and we asked the front desk to go ahead and get our television to where we could watch at least the news and they did respond immediately. A lot of the facilities there at the hotel were not available and it would’ve been nice to go ahead and have a heads up that the pool and the Gym were not available during our visit. I ended up leaving early.

It is a nice place. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We did have trouble with our keys/door lock not working on two different days but the staff was quick to help. We will definitely be considering staying there again.

Got to our room, which is a good distance away from the lobby and down an elevator. Room keys didn't work. Back to the lobby, given new keys, back to room... keys didn't work. Tried to call lobby from hallway courtesy phone, phone does not work. Back to lobby, told by maintenance that the card reader must need reprogrammed and he gives me a MASTER keycard that works on all doors! Comes by later to see if it worked, and just took the two non working keys and that was our key for the whole trip! Went out and about, and then ended up in the hotel lounge which was a GREAT experience. The bartender was super nice and we had a great time. Got back to our room ready to shower and go to bed, that's when we discover there is not a single towel in our room. Called the lobby for almost 20 mins, no answer... so back to the lobby. Nobody there, went to the lounge to see if the bartender could help and the front desk person is sitting at the bar instead of attending the front desk. A security guard said they would bring us towels. 30 mins later, have to go looking for the security guard because he hasn't come by yet. Next morning, go to get breakfast... this is a standard, run of the mill continental breakfast you'd get at Super 8 or Holiday Inn. Charged $10 each and the food was almost gone and cold. Nobody attending the food and refreshing it. We eat anyhow and as we are leaving out comes fresh food. The indoor pool is not open and the cigar lounge they advertise was never open once.

None of the restaurants or bars were open when I checked in, at 2:00pm. When the bar finally opened, the prices were ridiculous and the beer selection was very limited

1. Checked-in and cards didn't work. Wife went to the counter - 100yd walk, to get new ones, they too didn't work. Called desk and they sent maintenance guy who indicated he just replaced the door reader and the cards they gave us were not compatible with the new reader. New style card, worked. 2. 2 different occasions - different days, no hot water. HATE cold showers. 3. No maid service. 1st day we had sign to not clean. 2nd day no cleaning...then asked for cleaning. Later when we got back, not cleaned and no fresh towels or washcloths. 4. Vending machines all out of pop / soda. You'd think for a major local event like their annual Bike Fest, they'd capitalize on whatever they could to make $. Granted, I'm sure they have vendors to fill their machines but probably should be more on top of it. Property is nice and quiet though.

First it was very confusing to find the actual hotel. Checking in was completely fine. Finding the floor we were supposed to be on was a little difficult because it didnt indicate what floor you were on when first walking in. You would think it would be the first floor but it wasnt it was the third, and we werent told that. On the second day we had problems with both cards to the room but they easily fixed that. The morning of the third day we asked for directions to the cafe and it was given and we walked to it just to find it was closed. When we went back to ask what was going on the same staff member said she had no idea what was going on it was just closed. She was not willing to get any more information for us to see if it was going to open. So we had to leave to eat. For some reason i was sent an email that said check-out was at 5 pm on our thirs night. But was told when checking out it was at 11am and we were already checked-out. I was told that our keys shouldnt have worked after 11am and that this was a weird situation. We had gone oit to eat around 9:30am and had gotten back almost 12pm and our keys had worked. We were then told we werent going to be charged for another night and we were good to go. Maybe an hour later I recieved a call stating the receptionist was getting in trouble for letting us go without extra charging us. So I had to pay an extra $50 for something that wasnt my fault. Also had to drive back just to pay this.

Amenities listed were not available. 3 hot tubs closed. 1 indoor pool closed. Coffee shop was never open. Advertised breakfast and only had small breakfast items Saturday and Sunday. Absolutely nothing on Friday morning. Booked a king suite. And got a double queen room. Had to go to 4 vending machines to get a water. Do not recommend.

If you are booking this hotel for the listed "amenities" don't waste your time or money. I can completely understand when something needs maintenance but this stay was absolutely ridiculous. They ran out of breakfast food, none of the multiple hot tubs were open, indoor pool also closed, vending machine sold out, coffee shop closed. They should be either discounting these rooms when booking or reimbursing people like me that paid full price for things we didn't even get to enjoy.

I was served completely raw chicken and the hotel did nothing. They haven’t called and have not tried to make it up to me in any way. They have not even checked to see if I’m alright and I called twice and never talked to a manager and left messages. Left a message at check out and still have heard nothing. I will never stay here again. Also had an extremely young minor drinking in the bar.
