Radisson Hotel Zurich Airport
It would have been a good stay except for the shuttle bus driver did not allow us to travel back to the airport in the shuttle because we didn't have a paper printed booking. I inquired at the reception and he confirms that the shuttle bus is only available to guests who booked with them directly, and because we booked our rooms with hotels.com we were not eligible to use it. If we wanted to, he can book the next shuttle (in 30 minutes) for us for a fee of CHF 8 each. At that stage we sort of running late so we just booked a taxi. So keep away from this hotel if you are using third party booking flaforms to book their rooms. Just stay at the Radisson Blu right beside the airport.

Decent hotel, with some improvements needed.
The receptionist was not helpful, and he greeted us with an unfriendly attitude. For our group of three rooms, he only had one key and opened our doors and instructed us to put credit cards in the electrical initiation unit! The hotel itself is what you would expect for that category. The breakfast is also mediocre but Fatima improved our overall experience with her kindness and helpfulness.

Absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean room. Brand new furnishings. The room was listed as 2 king beds and had a completely seperate bedroom with a locking door on it which is great for families. Really nice shower with seat and bathroom with two sinks. The included breakfast was absolutely incredible. The best breakfast buffet I ever had with an array of delectable delights. Highly recommend! It is in a great area, very close to the airport. There is an Aldi right across the street.

Practical and convenient but expensive
I stayed here 3 nights as I was doing a long transit back to Australia. I would suggest taking out a second mortgage for a Stop over Switzerland 😂 or at least stay out of the city/zurich so your money spent is actually worth it! Th Swiss countryside is beautiful. But Zurich is just another eu city (at double the price)! This hotel is basically at the airport so not scenic but convenient- 5 mins walk to the train station (then 4 stops/15 Mins to Zurich HB) and the hotel is across the road from aldi. McDonald’s downstairs is a life saver As the hotel restaurant is like $40AUD for a small basic pizza and $13AUD for a machine made small coffee or A small bottle of water. No joke. No fridge in the tiny rooms but staff helpful In storing my babies milk/foods in their fridge. Airport shuttle very handy but costs around $15AUD per person each way. Beds are comfy! Rooms clean and practical (minus the lack of fridge). My hot water (hot water for the entire hotel) did not work at all for around 6 hours which was annoying but they fixed it as soon as they could. Zurich is fine for a day trip but the countryside or even small Towns out of Zurich were so much prettier and worth the money.
