Olinda Rio Hotel

The hotel is older, but the room we stayed in has been updated. We paid extra for the room facing the ocean with a balcony. We ordered room service one night and ate dinner on the balcony facing the ocean. I would recommend this hotel for the location and the breakfast was satisfactory.

We got a room with an upgraded spacious bathroom . The location of the hotel is safe and conveniently located in the heart of Copacabana.

Great location, right at beach. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Large room, but with two non-fuctioning lights, and a bathroom with plenty of shower mold.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I booked the hotel because of its location in front of the Copacabana Beach. The room rate is also not too expensive as compared to the other reputed hotel along the beach front. As it turned out the hotel offered everything I need for a pleasant stay. The room is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. If I were to pick any shortcoming it’s the air conditioner that’s a little too noisy. Other than that it’s s good value hotel.

Very good hotel, excellent location and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife and I have stayed in several hotels in Copacabana and the Olinda Rio Hotel is one we can highly recommend. A special thanks to Jorge for making the best caipirinhas we have ever tasted.
