Hotel on the Cay

Et hyggelig leilighetshotell med suveren beliggenhet på en liten koralløy rett utenfor Christiansted.

The hotel is a way over dated and offers no services. It’s just a basic beach hotel with a nice view. No food, restaurant, or bar service so all of your meals or even a drink had to be done by ferry. You website and phone personnel should be updated with the condition the hotel is in after the hurricanes. I know it’s been 6 months and they are still in repair but your site should reflect it and theirs too.

Beautiful sandy beach on the small island (the Cay)!! Also good for kids. The staff - front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and the captains at the boat - were all very friendly and helpful! Made you feel welcome and at home and gave good advice on where to go and what to do. There was a severe thunderstorm one evening while we were there, but the captain was relaxed about it and got us safely out to the Cay. The lady at the front desk said she'd been worried where we were (we're traveling with small kids) and gave us extra towels and a flashlight - just in case. They have a coin laundry even though it wasn't listed under amenities in hotels.com. Also, towns in the Caribbean tend not to be safe at night (at least that's what the locals always say), and in that respect it's perfect to be out on the Cay. Only bad things: the pool needs maintenance (but I got the impression that they are working on it), and since we were a little out of season (August), the restaurant was not open after 6 p.m. That was not a big problem, as the restaurants are right where the boat sets you off.
