Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo

Great location next to the beach, nice and clean pool to rest, very friendly staff and good meals.

The part that stands out the most for me is the eagerness for the staff to help. No matter what I asked for the staff person took over and made it happen without question or hesitation. This was incredible. It certainly shows the superior training from management.

Now with the new brand Margarita Ville, the food it’s very bad, the all inclusive it doesn’t make sense, hope the hotel will improve that because if not, choose another hotel

It was an overall good experience. Only thing that upset me a little is that they tried to not acknowledge my vip perks from Expedia and after a little arguing and showing proof that I had perks, they allowed it. Great place to stay but I don’t think it should be part of the vip hotels.

Nosotros tomamos la opción de todo incluido. Si debo indicarles que es un todo incluido muy LIMITADO. Todos los licores son de mala calidad. Ni tan si quiera le dan cerveza normal nacional. Los restaurantes son pequeños. Disfrazan las comidas como platos Gourmet cuando en realidad usan muy poco presupuesto para las comidas. Por ejemplo: uno pide un postre de tiramisu que lleva queso mascarpone y no lo llevaba. Pide uno una ensalada con aguacate y le llega sin aguacate. En todo los aspectos tratan de ahorrar. Y si uno quiere comer algo de calidad como una carne de lomito se lo cobran EXTRA. No hay ROOM SERVICE. NO HAY BOTONES ( tiene que lidiar con sus maletas con el agravante que el elevador no sirvió durante nuestra estadía.

Relación precio beneficio es ok, la playa es estupenda, el hotel un poco antiguo, pero tiene su remodelación

EL personal es muy amable, en general fue una estadia muy buena . don Orlando en el restaurante nos trató muy bien y es muy amigable, el personal de reservas fue especial y nos ayudaron en todo lo posible para que la estadía fuera excelente.

Margaritaville was great! So close to a beautiful beach that had amazing sunsets every night. You cross a very small & uncrowded road to get to the beach, which I was worried about, but it's very small, I'd call it more of a path. There are a handful of very good restaurants within walking distance if you don't have a car. The gelato place in the little mall complex across the street is wonderful!! Especially on those hot Costa Rican afternoon & evenings! We stayed in the family suite, with the double bunk beds, which the kids loved! Our room was on the 1st floor, near the parking lot, so we never got the sun, which made the room quite dark, which was the only negative. The breakfast was ok. Not the best, not the worse. The staff was very good at keeping outsiders out as well. We felt the hotel was very secure. Overall, you can't beat their sunsets! Beautiful stretch of beach & great water for the kids to play at the edge in. We loved our stay at the Margaritaville!
