First-time visit to an “All Inclusive Resort” in the Dominican Republic. Paid for 5 nights through Hotels.com.
- Disappointed with the service and quality for the price. The resort needs significant repairs and maintenance.
Negative experiences:
- - “Beachfront View” room (Room 4101) was barely visible.
- - Moldy bathroom with a broken handle, missing hot water, and a leaking toilet.
- - Invisible mosquito infestation with numerous red spots on my body.
- - Lack of dance floors, forcing me to visit an exterior nightclub and bar.
- - The Michael Jackson show was entertaining but a bit boring (many people left mid-show, but the magic show was better.
- - Ambiguous explanations for the “All Inclusive” concept, with staff unable to provide clear information about upgrades or included amenities.
Positive aspects:
- - Large, clean pool with a bar.
- - Clean beach.
- - Quiet atmosphere.
- - Friendly staff, including security and buffet team.
- - Daily variety of delicious food.
- - Freely roaming peacocks.
Overall, it’s a suitable place for a family vacation, but don’t expect much beyond a basic pool and food. Be cautious about the pricing for an “OKAY” all-inclusive resort.
For me is listed on a one time experience but not to be back.
