Hope Street Hotel

Lovely stay again - very cosy and clean.

We had booked to stay following a concert. On artival the receptionist was perched on a high stool while wearing a shirt skirt- not a professional look! Booking in was efficient. Room was fine with nice touches such as good quality toiletries and robes. Coffee machine was again a nice touch. After the concert we came to the bar but there was nowhere to sit so we stood up for over an hour before a stool became available. During the night there were several different doors slamming- perhaps soft close on all doors could be considered? Because of this- and a couple having an argument including shouting down the corridor- we did not have a good nights sleep. I realise tjis was not the responsibility of the hotel but banging doors could be improved. Checkout was efficient.

A very modern boutique hotel, the room we stayed in was very well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the ensuite facilities very clean with an excellent shower. The restaurant and bar area was excellent with a good menu. The reception staff were very helpful and made sure we didn'y wait very long. All in all excellent

Lots of issues with the room and service. Air conditioning broken. Building work going on but I wasn't informed beforehand. Room wasn't clean. Wi-Fi didn't work. All reported and still awaiting a resolution. Great location but that's all.

Best hotel I've stayed in Liverpool by far, and I visit the city regularly. Room - impeccable. Staff are friendly and smiling. Ambience and lighting very modern. Also try the restaurant across the street, it's fantastic.
