Sleepless in Stowe :(
The room had no lighting. All of our ski stuff is dark and was hard to sort when the dun went down. 2 table lamps with 30 watt ish bulbs and a battery operated globe light. Also thin walls. I listened to my neighbor's TV and conversations all night. Clear as ifthey were in my room. Got up to ride the mountain super tired from lack of sleep. The staff was awesome.

Excellent Stay!
Excellent stay! I'll be back again and again.. This is a great property located right on the river with plenty of fire-pits an outdoor hot tub and a great little bar in the lower level.. My dog loved the spot and their team loved my dog which always makes traveling a little easier.. Daylen and Lynn are awesome and understand hospitality, they made my stay feel incredibly warm and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The entire outdoor area with firepit seating and the river running alongside made for some amazing sunsets. Also loved the bar area. The rooms are small but the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Keep looking! The pictures on the website did not at all match the room we were expecting. Ended up paying an additional $500 for cottage. Could have been great. So many issues. We spent over 15 minutes trying to unlock the door. There was no switch to turn the under counter light off in the kitchen. The shower was very poorly designed and flooded the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was ridiculous. Could not fit hands under the faucet to wash them. Cottage had many "cool" appliances with no instructions. No coffee maker in unit. Only drip coffee that you brewed like tea and tasted awful. The staff tried to help, but these issues do not have a quick fix. There are many places to stay in Stowe. Keep looking

We were given what must be the worse room in this entire hotel which was so disappointing as we booked at least six months in advance. Sadly sometimes I find if I book through Expedia the hotel gives you a handicap room or the worse room - in this case the worse room. Right off the lobby with one glass door that lead out to parking lot which everyone coming into the hotel lobby can see into your room. No other windows, was like a basement room. Worse hotel room in my 30 years of traveling. Should be a store room not a hotel room.
