Overall experience was excellent! You can't beat the location—walkable to parks, great coffee/food spots, and lots of small shops. As soon as you enter the front door, their small reception area welcomes you with beautiful furnitures and fantastic arts on the wall. Staffs were friendly. The building is a bit old but full of charming characters. Room was small, clean, and the bed was comfortable.
There's just one thing I wanted to call out. In the first night, I found someone else's hair on the bed when I was about to go to sleep. I asked for a new set of bed sheets, but they immediately switched me to a smaller version of the Standard Double and told me I can move back after they clean it the next day. However, the next day they weren't able to give me the original room because it was already reserved for VIP.
I loved the first room they gave me! It was as beautiful as shown on their website for Standard Double with two windows facing the street. They switched me to a smaller room with only one window facing an enclosed area. In that area, there are two other doors, a bathroom window, and no direct sunlight. I was uncomfortable and scared to open my window the whole time because I don't know when these doors will be opened.
Wish their communication was clearer. It was quite disappointing that I had to give up the original room because there are other people's hairs on the bed.
Attached is the room I stayed for reference.
