Campanile Aix En Provence Ouest - Jas de Bouffan

This was a very last minute booking. It is a motel and so not necessarily as comfortable as a hotel and I did find it difficult to get comfortable in my bed and when the air con was switched to cool, it would just switch off . The free WiFi is only worth using for checking e mails so streaming is totally pointless unless you use your own mobile data. However, the staff were friendly ( if a little over stretched ) and the food was of a decent quality. The rooms and the restaurant /reception area are clean . Ok for a nights stay, but not not for anything longer.

I just needed a room to stay for one night - the place looked somewhat run down from the outside, but inside I got a very, very comfortable bed and a big shower with good water pressure. The room was clean, and provided everything I needed for one night. It was also surprisingly quiet considering it's close to a major road. I stayed in a 3 star hotel in the centre of Aix previous 2 nights, which cost twice as much but was twice less comfortable.
