Très bon accueil dès notre arrivée. Employés disponibles et très a l'écoute de nos besoins. Un tres bon séjour à Avignon. Hôtel à conseiller sans hésitation.
I arrived at the Hotel 2 hours later and they didn't have my reservation. There were no rooms available at the Hotel, which was full. I had nowhere to stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff Rooms were of a good size for a short stay Hotel was ideally situated
The location was ideal, good-sized room that was quite well sound-proofed, very helpful staff.
Very good location in the middle of Avignon. Easy parking across the street and a decent breakfast provided. Wished they had a few more options but overall very happy with our stay.
Proximity to railway station and to restaurants. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Wonderful spot close to train station and tourist office. Just perfect. Great breakfast too!!
This hotel is in a perfect location. Close to the train station and all of the sites. The rooms are spacious and quiet. We would definately stay there again.
Location was perfect!!! Close to train station, tourism office, easy walk to Palais. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. Room was too hot and did not cool with air conditioning. When we opened the windows, due to the location of the room, the ventilation system for the restaurant/bar across the street was directly across the street, causing deep fried exhaust to fill the room. On returning to the room after a day or evening out, it smelled foul, but it was difficult to air out the room with the restaurant exhaust coming in the windows. The tub was small and cramped, with no grab bars. There was barely room to shower. The vent above the shower was full of mould, as were the ceiling tiles. Breakfast was adequate, but usually most tables were reserved for tour groups staying there. It was difficult to find a non-reserved table to sit at. Again, the exhaust fans in the dining room were dirty and mouldy.
Room was okay...BUT...we were awoken at 0200 by a loud hammering (not knocking!) on our door. Someone was trying to knock the door down. The door was thankfully double bolted otherwise they may have broken in. The door frame was moving with each bang. My family were petrified. The reception staff did not answer the phone, so we called the police. Eventually, the reception did answer the phone and they stated that it was a 'misunderstanding', and that the person was looking for a different room. This is unlikely. We answered the door knocking by shouting....it was obvious that whoever they were looking for, it was not a family. It was a frightening experience. We feared that a much more serious situation may have been occurring. The reception staff did not help. They 'cancelled' the police against my wishes. They did not offer any plausible explanation. It is possible that it was a drunk, but if so, how did he gain entry to the hotel? Or a disgruntled partner, but he continued to try to kick the door down. Or it may have been someone trying to rob us. Whatever it was, questions remain unanswered and we will never stay there again.
