It appears to have been recently renovated and there is a lot of positive. The rooms are big and comfy. The linens nice and new. Furniture, carpet and decorations new and tasteful in the room and in the common areas. There were 3 things that were let-downs. The bathrooms had been poorly redone. Rather than replacing the tubs & showers, they used pre-fab inserts and they did not fit well. The floor seemed like there was a gap between it and the original tub and had "give" when you stepped on it. The faucet worked, but barely. It kind of hung loosely and you just had to keep guessing to get the temperature you wanted. The tub faucet had a gap to the wall. The toilet was elementary-school size. I have never seen this Lilliputian-esque toilet in any bathroom meant for adults. We had 2 rooms and both had these issues in the bathroom. Other than that, the bathroom was nice. Quality towels, curtain, nice size sink and counter. The second issue was the small, noisy elevator. The elevator on the upper floors was dark and kind of hidden. It needed to be cleaned. There was letter size sheet of paper taped inside it saying that smoking was prohibited in front and only in back at least 25 feet from the door. The third issue was the "hot" breakfast. It has the standard waffle machine and tiny yogurts. But the fatty sausage and scrabbled eggs from powder were not good. It has the potential to be much better than it is.
