The hotel is located in a very dire area. It is close to the beach, but the beach is nothing to write home about. The area is worn down and you have to travel 20 minutes or so with taxi towards Taormina to get to restaurants and attractions worth seeing. Our room did not have anything, it really looked like it was forgotten (Nothing in the minibar, no bottle opener etc). In a business hotel like this, it was also a surprise that you needed to pay (about 10 EUR if i remember) to use a very average gym. The breakfast was bad, and the dresscode in the restaurant should be dropped until the standard of the hotel aligns. The pool had too few beds and pool wasn't clean. The poolside bare was really dire, and you were not allowed to bring food and drinks. I am glad we only stayed one night.
