I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is nice and the food was good. Very relaxing however, the biting insects are very aggressive, I believe they are sand flies. Wearing bug spray is a must!

Best place for solo traveler who chooses to relax and be quiet.

This resort is not like the Mega Resorts on Bavaro Beach. It is small (55-ish rooms), has 3 restaurants, 1 large pool, a spa, a gift shop and 2 bars. If you are looking for loud, crowded, crazy, spring break-like atmosphere, this is not for you. If you are looking to relax on a quiet, picture perfect beach and be treated like one of the family then this is the place for you. This is an adults only, all-inclusive resort. All food and drink are included and tipping is optional. It is about 45 minutes from the airport. This means it is quiet! There is not much shopping nearby and no external restaurants. This is truly a place for you to get away from everything. The beach is the gem at the resort. This is a perfect beach like you see on screen savers, travel brochures and in your dreams. It got very crowded on the beach on the weekend with 6 people on it. Translation – it is totally secluded. There is plenty of shade and plenty of loungers or beds. The main restaurant is a buffet and there are Asian and a Mediterranean restaurants. The food ranges from good to great. Service is good and attentive – you will not see the bottom of your glass. Drinks are not watered down like at the mega resorts. These are full strength and made well. This place was amazing. It is low key, easy to get anything you need and everyone treats you with respect. This is a secluded, low key, quiet, beautiful resort that is unbelievably gorgeous! We will be back!

The resort was exactly what we were looking for. It was super relaxed, quaint, small but there were so many options for food, beverages and activities. They have 4 total restaurants with something to eat from 7am until 12am. A couple buffets and then two restaurants to make reservations at for the evening on top of room service. It was perfect for our honeymoon and the only thing I would advise is to learn a little Spanish prior to going because there were a couple workers that spoke very broken English. Other than that, Rimero and Patricia were so helpful and Ismael was always on top of things when delivering any room service we ordered. I’d highly recommend for ANY couple wanting to get away from the world with an all-inclusive package.
