The Pucic Palace

Location, location, location! Charming, on the square with the local green market just outside the front door. Lovely old building with not to be unexpected, smallish rooms with dated furnishings and shabby, chic area rugs that may not appeal to all. If you're thinking, wonderful old world experience in a private home with more than hospitable staff, this is the place for you.

Staff could not have been nicer. Breakfast excellent: order from the menu. The room was spacious and the bathroom luxurious. There was a porcelain copper tub which was excellent.

The location and the staff are superb. Sanja runs a wonderful establishment in every way. Of course she is aided by a location that is unbeatable.

We really enjoyed our time at the Pucic Palace. The service was incredible and the staff went out of their way including helping us with our transportation. They're breakfast was to die for. Incredible doesn't not describe how good it was. If you are going to Dubrovnik, this is where you want to stay.

The hotel is located inside the old city. You really can’t apply the standard evaluation answers to the questions being asked in the survey because the hotel is in a category of its own. The staff and service was great. It is a bit of a challenge to get your bags to and from the entrance gate to the hotel but you can get the hotel’s staff to assist. Best suggestion is to try it out and see if it works for you!

This is an amazing hotel. It’s right in the center of the Old City so convenient to everything. The staff is very good. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It’s loud until around midnight so don’t expect any early nights of sleep. The property is full of charm and history.

The staff was great, as was the location. The building is ancient but very well maintained. The bed was good. Breakfast was very good. The room was over the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and we were serenaded by their music, but it wasn’t distasteful, and they quit at a reasonable hour. The major issue we had was with the shower. The water flow was a little more than a dribble, it was difficult to adjust the temperature, and it was almost impossible to soap up and then rinse off. And like many European showers much of the water winds up on the bathroom floor.

The location is amazing. When we asked the staff for restaurant recommendations, they didn’t just point, they asked their bellman to take us there! Make sure you include the pick-up at airport. They meet you at the gates of the Old Town area and take you straight to your room with the luggage. Well worth it.
