Generally, a good hotel. However, it is not 5*...more like a 4* by international standards. The room space was amazing but the interior design was lacking. The pool is pointless...it is very small and in the shade. A better use of space would be to remove the pool and create a larger patio space for the restaurant. The service was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. It’s a very quiet and peaceful corner of Fira with incredible views and this is the strong point. The hotel restaurant is also excellent. I would have an interior designer upgrade the rooms as they let down the experience a bit...they have a lot of potential.

I would not ever recommend this hotel. Our room was old and outdated and not clean . Pictures do NOT represent the hotel. The last night the AC quit working and our room was hot and humid. On our final morning, at 4am when we woke to shower and head to airport, the water coming out of both showers was a disgusting brown. Faucets were the same way . We had to brush our teeth using bottled water and couldn't shower before our day of travel. Absolutely disgusting. We were told that we the filters needed changing. Hotel was contacted regarding both matters. No solution offered. I contacted the hotel upon my arrival home and was told that they were NOT going to offer me any compensation. Hotels.com did indeed offer me a credit towards another stay but the actual hotel did nothing for me. I would not EVER stay here or recommend it to anyone.

Overall we were happy with the hotel . I thought Santorini very expensive for what you got for your money and very crowded with 4 cruise boats parked off shore each day . I do not think it is worth the money .

This hotel is amazing. The hosts who took care of us Georgina, Angela and Petros were amazingly helpful to us. We had the best view of the sea and the volcano and we could walk to the Old Port area without leaving the perimeter of the town.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. Every employee was extremely nice and helpful. The location was wonderful, very close walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had a suite with a balcony that had a view of the entire caldera. The balcony and view is what you’re paying for with this hotel. While we had a lovely time, the downside was the uncomfortable pillows and sheets. The towels had a slight musty smell one day. I would still probably stay here again because of all the positives and I do love a romantic historical place.
