Front desk/lobby attendant was fantastic… very friendly and accommodating. The room had a spectacular view of the bay and beach area as long as large service/work trucks were not parked all day. I like that you can rent boats and jet skis so close.
Breakfast in the lobby was non-existent and not refilled to accommodate the number of guests staying in the hotel. We ended up bringing coffee, donuts and danish into our room.
The bathroom was not clean, there was dirt and dust behind the door and in corners of the room. However, the cleaning staff was very friendly.
Our room faced the bay and when the blinds were closed, a portion of the blinds had been cut or broken allowing those outside in the parking lot to see into the room. I used a towel to hang between the blinds to close the space.
There was a dead cockroach on the floor in our room I can only hope came from the adjoining room as it was the only one I saw however, I pulled everything out of our bags to make sure we were bringing nothing home with us.
We did not go to the pool.
The location of the hotel is wonderful on 98 and we were able to get to everything very quickly. Not sure I would stay at this hotel again, for the price and condition of the rooms. Was my first vacation in over 10 years and I made sure I enjoyed myself.
