Great for families but not for adults only
Let me start by saying from our experience the staff at this resort is phenomenal. Everyone from the grounds staff to the restaurant staff
This is a great family resort. If you’re going without kids I would steer clear. They do have a portion that is adults only but even for us traveling with or 3 kids it was too family friendly with people/kids everywhere.
We can’t really say anything bad about the resort it self. Unfortunately one of our days the weather did not cooperate and we had torrential downpours all day. due to the rain the roof in one of the restaurants leaked, the grounds were impassable due to flooding. This was also the day of the pirate ship entertainment. The boat could not leave the dock and everyone got soaked waiting in line and the entertainment on the boat was more for adults but still family friendly.
We were disappointed in the pools and I can’t really pinpoint why other than they felt cold, there seemed to be lots of little pools and only one big pool but even the big pool didn’t have the feel of other respite pools with a bar close by and background music.
The beach was fantastic, water calm compared to other parts of Cancun which made it nice for the kids.
The food was pretty good for an all inclusive resort and same for the rooms. We’ve had better but also had worse.
We won’t return as we prefer a little more relaxed laid back and with all the kids that wasn’t the case here especially by the pools where it was more crowded. L
