Nomada is a great place to stay, especially if you have rented a car. The included parking is a major selling point.
The vicinity is very convenient, with a publix nearby and the Design District a stone's throw away.
The gym is decent, just missing some kettlebells. The pool is lovely but never used it. Having the view is nice though if you like to people watch. There's also a pool table and good spaces to just chill.
The only downsides, are knowing in advance what your room will be like. The pictures on the booking websites are all stock. This means you better get the best room you can afford, because you won't be able to change your room once you've checked in. Even if there are issues. I've stayed at Nomada like 4 times in the last 5 months, and there's always teething issues in the room. Basic issues that make you wonder if any one does a check. (For example, the cable box was disconnected on TWO separate visits. The fridge water dispenser wasn't working. The shower had very low pressure. The battery on the fire alarm died and kept beeping through the night. The battery on the noise alarm also died.)
The decorations and kitchen utensils made available vary - which basically says to me that each room is managed independently.
