Had multiple issues with check in, including getting keys that didn't work, and getting a room with a broken thermostat. Each time, I had to go back down to the lobby to get switched to a different room; I ended up being assigned back to the original room with keys that worked. At 3:18am, I abruptly woke up to someone opening my door a few times. Fortunately, I had hooked the top latch on so the door would catch and not fully open. When I announced my presence, the person said "I'm sorry," and left. I called down to the front desk, Von, who had been on shift the whole time, and he said the computer had the room as vacant so he had checked in guests to the room I was staying in. He then asked me which room he had tried to give me with the broken thermostat. The check in process and this issue seemed extremely disorganized. I would not stay here. It is a safety issue. If I had not put the top latch on, strangers would have been able to walk in while I was sleeping. Everyone, please be careful and especially solo travelers, please remember to latch your doors.
