Hotel El Silencio del Campo

We stayed here during the Covid lockdown so the hotel was only filled up to half of it's capacity and the large hotel next door was closed. Hence we had a very calm and peaceful stay. The cabins themselves are very comfortable and the king bed was excellent! The breakfast was great, and the hotsprings were wonderful. In general the hotel grounds are gorgeous with many plants and even animals (a donkey and a pony were grazing about) creating a surreal, magical feeling. Overall we had an excellent stay!

Very quite, staff was great and having private thermal pools was a plus. Do a spa treatment if you can very relaxing.

We loved this hotel! The staff was excellent. They helped us with reservations for all of our excursions. The property is beautifully maintained and the views of Arenal Volcano were amazing. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, the hot springs every evening and the bar near the hot springs. We highly recommend this property!

Staff very friendly. Loved the warm towel and fruit drink presented on arrival. Greatly enjoyed the thermal water pools. Even saw an iguana flaked Out near the pools!

This property has its own hot springs and beautiful gardens/landscaping. The hot springs barely have any people in them, whereas lots of people buy $50-$100 day passes to go to the hotels with more famous hot springs. While those properties have stunning gardens, they are way more populated and so I think it is very very special to have this access to perfectly lovely hot springs as a better alternative. Also the staff is the friendliest, most wonderful group I've ever encountered.

Rooms were exceptionally clean and well constructed and efficient. Grounds were beautiful. Hot springs were delightful and relaxing. Farm was fun to see. Loved the donkeys. Staff was outstanding. Dinner was great. Bar food was just OK and breakfast was not too special. But wait staff was terrific in the morning. We will return to this hotel if we are lucky enough to come back to Fortuna! Also good location on way to 1968 and National Park. Pura Vida!

This hotel was so peaceful. You could sit on your porch and see many beautiful birds including many varieties of hummingbirds. The cabins are arranged in a way that they each have privacy. The thermal springs are relaxing and never over crowded. I also highly recommend Stephanie at the spa. It was a wonderful massage.

Very Very charming place. We enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended and was a good part of our trip. Kudos
