Hotel & Gasthof Fraundorfer

Vi bodde der to netter i forbindelse med VM i Seelfeld. Forsåvidt i utgangspunktet et tradisjonelt og hyggelig familidrevet gasthof med sentral beliggenhet rett ved Olympiabakken. Servicen var under forventet, og det samme var komforten på rommene. Frokosten var derimot svært bra. Renhold helt bra. Det var et populært middagssted, men vi spiste ikke der (fullbooket begge kvelder). Alt i alt ok når man kun er ute etter et overnattingssted....

The hotel is part of a restaurant. There is no check in area. We entered and were ignored until finally, at the restaurant food service service area, we asked where the hotel was and they said it was right there. Then they gave us paperwork and went off to set tables and deliver food. We stood there - with our luggage in the middle of the restaurant - until another person (in the kitchen!) offered to give us our keys. A bit strange check in procedure! But everything else about the place was fantastic! Gorgeous exterior, comfortable room, lovely old touches, great modern bathroom, and even parking.

Barbara Fraundorfer is an extremely sharp woman, knows what's going on and goes out of her way to help her guests with information and ideas. Gasthof Fraundorfer is very conveniently located, accommodations were clean and roomy.

Absolutely beautiful in the historic district. The owner is so helpful and pleasant. Opted for the breakfast which was very good just different from the American breakfast. Dinner was fabulous. Our server was quite helpful, pleasant and attentive. The dinner entertainment was an accordion player and two young boys occasional jumping in for traditional dance. Wunderbar!

Great ambiance and location. A bit too many stairs for me but we a great room with a good view. Bed was a bit hard. Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Wonderful friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with a few vegan options. Restaurant is great. Location couldnt be better!

Loved the authentic german feel of this guest house. It was a comfortable room and within steps of the town activities. Breakfast was great and loved the music, dancing and food in the restraint at night.

We loved our stay at Hotel & Gastof Fraundorfer! It's an adorable old guesthouse, the room was small but comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was very sweet and helpful. There were a few extra touches like candy on the pillow and a large bottle of sparkling water in the room that were unexpected but charming. Unfortunately we stayed on a Tuesday night so the on-site restaurant was closed, and we had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast, so I can't speak to the food. The on-site parking is limited and in our case filled up before we got back, but there is a garage a block or two away where you can park overnight if the on-site lot is full, so this wasn't a problem for us.

This was a great hotel right in town. Walking distance to many restaurants although you must eat at the restaurant at the hotel at least once as it has live music, dancing and is very entertaining. We stayed in a building behind the hotel in a family room that had two bedrooms. The room was great and it was nice to have a separate room from the kids. The hotel has lots of character and I would recommend staying here!

Enjoyed the live music in the restuarant. Check in is awkward as is in the restuarant.
