We booked this hotel a long time before arrival the 19th of March,
and everything was fine with the booking. We even got a confirmation
the day before we were traveling to Paris. However, when we arrived the hotel, the receptionist could tell us that there was something wrong with our credit card and the booking was cancelled. She told us that they had tried to reach us via another company (not Hotels.com). We showed here the booking, explained to here that we had booked the hotel through Hotels.com, we explained that we got a confirmation regarding our booking the day before, and nothing was wrong with our credit card, but She did not listen to us and spent several minutes trying to find a copy of the booking details. When she failed to find the documentation, she wrote something on here computer and printet out a piece of paper which, she told us, proved that she was right regarding our credit card problem. She did not appologize, but when we asked if there was any available room, she could fix something. Unfortunately that was a single room and we maybe had to switch room during our three night stay. The receptionist was not very helpful, she was rude and even lied to us. This is the first time I have experienced trouble with booking rooms at Hotel.com
