Opera Residence

It was the perfect location. I felt more like I was living in Budapest instead of just visiting.

Apartment was much bigger than I expected: I had booked a studio but got an apartment with a separate bedroom, and the main living space was a large area with a kitchen, dining and lounge area. Balcony overlooking an internal courtyard was a bonus: no view obviously but nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine and have a beer. Great location, walking distance to all attractions (if you're happy to clock up a few miles like I am) and a 10 minute walk from the square where the airport bus runs from. Also right next to a busy street with plenty of restaurants and bars. I was staying here alone and it was quieter going down the street in the opposite direction: as a single female traveller being somewhere I'm unfamiliar with, I would not be happy walking down there at night but anywhere that I needed to go, I could get to via one of the busy streets which I was perfectly comfortable walking down alone. Highly recommended, had a great stay.

Excellent value apartment, clean & spacious. Check-in was a dream and open 24/7 so no problem for a late arrival. Location was really good in a decent part of Budapest with cafes, restaurants, Opera House and Metro Station all close by. We were staying for F1 weekend and would definitely return.

They have a reception desk so no matter when you arrive you will be taken care of. We found many in Budapest quite rude but this hotel management was really nice. The apartment was fantastic. No shampoo etc. We had been rolocated to this hotel after our apartment owner who told us to contact him upon arrival wouldn't pick up the phone for us nor hotels.com. we love booking with hotels.com for reasons like this they completely took care of us. Better to book an apartment with a front desk I've discouvered as planes can be delayed.

Good location very near andrassy Avenue good cafes and bars

The location is fantastic. Really central, close to several metro, bus and trams, in a side street so not too noisy but close to bars and restaurants. The room we had was essentially a bed sit ie one room that was bedroom, kitchen, lounge and dining with seperate bathroom and toilet. Front desk was helpful

Location is great. Apt is spacious and bright. Host was generous and allowed early check in. Dry towels we're in the washer. We are not sure if they were cleaned or not. They do not provide bath soap or shampoo. Washer instructions are not posted in English. If they had looked after these small details, I would have given them excellent rating

Your info said the cleaning fee was 7 huf, it was 8 euro. Really stupid or bait and switch?

Nice hotel close to shops and the nice food i like it

Heating is good, air- conditioning could be improved. Kitchen is well equipped, fridge is decent sized (not mini-bar). Quiet area, with courtyard. 7 minutes walk to nearest train station which is very convenient. Would stay again!
