Excellent, helpful and kind staff. Comfortable, spacious rooms with the best robes/slippers, and some of the best views in the whole of the UK. Floor to ceiling windows are fantastic. Super comfortable bed, and very clean. I was given a complimentary upgrade, much to the delight of both myself and my daughter, and we are very appreciative of this! Thank you so much for making our trip extra special. If I could make one amendment it would be a little more initiative - the Nespresso machines work differently than the guide in the room says, but they don't inform you of this at check-in or in the room. They were super helpful once I called reception about it. Similarly, they have complimentary gin in reception, but I was never offered - I had to approach them myself and ask. These are minor things, but for a five star hotel should be taken as constructive criticism. Overall this hotel is wonderful and I would hope to stay here again - highly recommended.

Hip and modern hotel in the middle of Edinburgh. In addition to being treated with a complimentary welcome drink by the front desk manager, a hand written welcome card and a bottle of wine in the hotel room, the front desk staff was both incredibly helpful and professional. The hotel room was spacious, clean. Our room on the fourth floor had a nice view of the city. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was low, and – if I should be really picky – a an parodically cordial breakfast manager. But hey – rather that than the opposite, right!

Super service og god info ved ankomst. God luft på rommet og god mulighet for justering av temperatur. Bra standard og komfort på rommet og hotellet har sentral og perfekt beliggenhet i gamlebyen.

The location was absolutely perfect! Breakfast was varied and good, the hotel bar was stylish and the rooms were good.
