We stayed in room 213 for two nights, an executive studio apartment. (€110 pr. night. Not bad.)
The room was facing the back garden/yard. No view but very quiet. Spacious and modern apartment with kitchen. Fridge, dishwasher, iron, ironboard, kettle hair dryer; All you need. Nice bathroom.
We didn't eat at the hotel.
They don't have a bar, but you can buy drinks in the reception at reasonable prices.
There's a tram line (no. 16 & 17) just outside the hotel. Very convenient! 5 minutes to Hauptbahnhof. 9 minutes to Karlsplatz. We came by S-bahn from the airport to Donnersbergbrücke, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you prefer less walking, you can switch to the 16/17 tram at Hauptbahnhof.
You can borrow umbrellas in the reception. Nice!
Check out the lovely Augustiner keller between the hotel and Hauptbahnhof for a genuine German atmosphere.
PS! Check out time is 11 am (but ask for an extra hour or two - maybe you're lucky).
