Our 3-night stay at El Moore was wonderful. The Lodge is located in a historic neighborhood in Detroit, just a short walk from some nice restaurants and shops, and also walking distance from the beautiful main library and several museums. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, and each morning we had a continental breakfast in the charming dining area downstairs. The staff members were warm and welcoming. (A special shout-out to Ms. K, who graciously and patiently took the time to untangle my necklace so I could wear it to an evening event. ) We can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely recommend you stay at the El Moore Lodge when traveling to Detroit. The building has all the modern amenities, but still has the historic charm/feel you want.
