Overrated and Overpriced.
If I could do over, I would have skipped this stop. The hotel itself is situated nicely and the staff was generally helpful. We had an all-inclusive pass and the meals were, for the most part, very poor quality. The steak place, for example, seems to only serve food raw or well done. Medium rare does not exist (and two steaks of the exact same type were delivered as well done and inedible raw). In our room, there is a big window outside the bathroom with a privacy screen, this was installed incorrectly so everyone could see directly into the restroom (but no one could see out). Over 3 days, it was never repaired, the service tech did not show up at the time agreed.
If you stay here, I definitely do not recommend getting the all-inclusive. Take Ubers to Old Town for restaurants. Better yet, try Dreams next door. We spent a bit of time there and has a much more vacation vibe.
