Aparton is not a hotel, but have apartments around. The one I got were just two kilometers from the main street in Minsk. The apartment had kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and a porch. The bathroom included a bubble bath. It was a big and nice apartment, but had some minor electricity problems. A man just walked into my apartment, because he had keys. Turned out to be the electrician of the building. He didn't speak a word of english, but luckily I had some belarussian friends there at the time. The building itself looked pretty shabby, and I had my doubts when taking the lift, which looked older than... something old. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with a grocery store next door.
