Sleeping at hotels more than 150 night per year, mean that there is an enormous difference between what you expect as a "plain service" (and sometimes don't get) and when you're really feeling you're a guest. A tiny, three star hotel, with only four rooms at each floor. The room (which I believe is s standard one) was really huge, modern, clean and really inviting. The bathroom is small, but functional, with a batch tube and a perfectly working shower. Again, clean, nice, and modern. Delicate breakfast, with an offer to make egg and bacon the way I wanted it. Good coffee. Fresh orange juice (pressed at the minute you fill the glass. The rooms in itself makes this hotel worth a stay, but it is really the human in the reception desk, and serving breakfast that makes the huge difference between this hotel and a standard three, four or five star hotel. Maybe my best hotel experience ever. I hope I find excuses to go back to Gent!
