We booked a room with twin beds, manger tried to sell us a room with king size bed , which we refused to accept it, after showing my frustration, he finally gave us two bedroom apartment, which was far from elevator
Was only in Delhi for a few hours for a long layover and didn’t want to stay at the airport for 12 hours. Arranged a car pickup to the andaz (10 minute drive from the airport), so they knew my arrival time and the room was immediately ready. When I walked in I was escorted directly to my room and check in happened in my room (passport check, card deposit, etc). My bags arrived before checkin was done. Room is modern and clean, didn’t love the open concept bathroom though (there is very little privacy if you’re traveling with someone else). Very convenient if you want to be close to the airport. Less convenient if you plan to explore Delhi (would suggest staying downtown instead).

The bar tender at the Hong Kong club was a women from amesterdam and was the best! Got a free room upgrade and breakfast was off the charts.
Great food, spacious lavish rooms and a very warm staff. Must mention they made our anniversary evening special with a lip smacking chocolate cake :) all in all great spot & 10 mins from the airport
Extra bed though requested, was set up after check in. This was after the hotel knew that I will check in past midnight. Breakfast place was too crowded and disorganized
Very disappointed at the maintenance of this property. It’s very sad as the team is very friendly and welcoming. But the maintenance and cleanliness needs work. As an example the white glasses in the bathroom are all scratched and the paint is scratched off.
Our stay at the Andaz was fairly disappointing from the start. Our airport pick-up directed us to meet them at a completely different terminal, which we were promptly removed from by security. We then spent 20 minutes trying to contact them/locate them at the original terminal we landed in. The room was comfortable, however not particularly suitable for guests that aren’t couples, as the doors to the bath, shower, and toilet are all see-through. The hotel itself is beautiful, but very large. It would have been nice if someone could have given us a small tour with directions to all the amenities, but we were left to find our own way around. The service at the restaurant we dined in was terrible. Despite arriving during a quiet period, it was extremely difficult to get the server’s attention and when we finally did they would walk away before we had even finished talking. The vegetables we had with our meal were extremely dried out and we were sceptical as to whether they were cooked fresh or taken directly from the display. Lastly, the car we had booked (weeks in advance) to take us back to the airport was not available, so we were presented with a bill for a more expensive car. We understand that it is human to error, and although many of these mistakes/issues were eventually resolved with compliments/upgrades, we felt that the standard should have been better at this type of hotel.
The immediate friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, starting at reception with Alka, she was amazing, and helped me at several points during my stay with needed information. My room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. I invited friends from Delhi for dinner at the Hong Kong Club and it was a delightful evening with delicious food and incredible dessert! However, the favourite part of my stay remains the Buffet breakfast, it is an experience to say the least with the huge variety of delectable breakfast choices. Ranjan the Manager in charge is always very helpful and to his credit recognized me from my previous stay back in February 2019. P.S. I also enjoyed my hour at the Gym!
