The Ambassador Hotel

We loved the Ambassador. It is all renovated and nicely done. Pool area was really nice and the beach was private and great access!

I had an amazing trip. I basically had the entire hotel to myself. I really wish I had the room service experience but that’s okay. The hotel is not that big. The restaurant was alright. For the prices, I would eat somewhere else for sure. Plus, it is only open for 4 days a week at dinner hours. But that suite is absolutely unbeatable. I was in heaven. I was so comfortable. I wanted a solo vacation to take a break from COVID-19 and just be alone in my room for my birthday. I was very pleased.

The private beach access what great and the view was beautiful. It was a nice clean suite and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like to have done differently would have been to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Other than that the stay went perfectly!

This is an older property with character in a great location with fantastic beach access.

Room was large with a comfortable balcony, with excellent views. Location was close to where a friend was staying. Price was right. The hotel got a new owner recently and plans are in the works to shut-down and renovate. Breakfast only 7:30-9:30, with no notice in room. Restaurant brochure but no restaurant.

this was advertised on Hotels.com as having a partial view of the ocean. See photos below. No view. This was a 1930 dive like an old movie, smelly, very tired. not a ocean hotel but something that belonged in a bad movie. I walked in and walked out and stayed somewhere else. I will never book anything with Hotels.com again.

When you first walk in, you can’t miss the musky smell that gets stronger and stronger. The room was freshly painted (old paint was never scraped). The hotel looks like an old apartment building that was converted.

The Ambassador Hotel experience was traumatic The room was musty and had garbage from someone else all over the desk, and the bed had been laid down on both sides! I requested a room change, and got a room the had NO AMENITIES. NO safe, no water, no cups, no wash clothes, no iron, no ironing board, no blow dryer, no TV hook up (valet came and helped with this one). The bath/ shower was unusable as it was filthy dirty.
