BU Place Hotel

this hotel is not really on the tourist trail. it offers very good value if you are an able traveller. older neighborhood with tiny streets and dense traffic, filled with local food and basic services. hotel minibus makes reliable daytime transport to shopping and metro, but can walk it n 15 mins once you know the way. can be difficult to find for taxis so make sure to have telephone number handy. everything in the hotel worked great for me. i recommend to anyone who wants good value and can deal with real bangkok!

overall very good. just be careful when you pay the cash deposit because they asked me 3000 B and the give you an envelop with the deposit receipt in it. do not trust their words and check that they write 3000 B deposit because on check out i found that it was 1000 B and they will only give you what is written on the receipt.he area is dark and not much to do around

Friendly stuff and the place is safe

We booked this hotel because it was one that had three beds in the room. The room was clean and quiet. We were surprised that we were required to pay a cash deposit of 3100 Baht at check-in, even though the room was pre-paid on a credit card. Luckily we were able to pool some cash and had some left for dinner. When we checked out we had to wait for someone to inspect the room before we got our deposit back. Other than that, we stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and bathrooms.

BU place is a decent hotel at a very competitive price. The nearby streets are filled with food vendors and shops although you can still use their room service that serves up nice food too. The rooms are big and clean. Very nice staff too. Can’t complain
