Too Many Surprises
I reserved here because it said it was pet-friendly, but I found out after I made the reservation that the room I got (the last one available for my dates) was not pet-friendly and the reservation was not cancellable. Upon check-in we learned that our room was not in the main lodge and there was no parking available at the building where our room was and we had to take a shuttle back and forth. Very inconvenient and time consuming. Not happy about that at all. It was difficult to get service at the front desk as half the time there was no one there. Overall, our room was quiet and the building we were in was beautiful. One benefit was that we never had to share the hot tub. In the end, we still had a great trip, there were just a lot of surprises.

Nordic Inn has been a Mt. Crested Butte mainstay for years -- needs updates but is affordable, close to lifts, has clean rooms, good continental breakfast, laidback staff. It's a throwback to the 70's ski lodges that have been replaced by condo complexes.
