Very nice staff, clean property, amenities good and best of all the hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre where everything is close by. The attractions, shopping malls, market, shops, restaurants and Metro all at the walking distance. It was a perfect choice of hotel. Excellent.
Lovely hotel with pleasant staff in a great location. The water pressure was not great and the towels didn't have that American fluffiness
The location is grate Near metro Mini market just near by The stuff is very helpful and nice the room is very small, cleaning was well.
This was our second stay at this Marais hotel, the first time being 20 years ago. It was once a 17th-century private town house, and the lobby was as welcoming and charming as I remembered. The room we stayed in was apparently once the attic because the sloping ceiling and gorgeous exposed beams caused us to stoop in places. But it was lovely, nonetheless, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The room was clean, but quite compact (not unusual for Paris.) The en suite bathroom, however, was surprisingly quite large – nearly the size of the sleeping room! The one tiny negative I might give is that the heater would not turn off all the way, so even though it was cold outside, it could be very hot inside. We kept a window cracked all night, which did help to keep a comfortable temperature. The breakfast, in a cozy remodeled subterranean cave, was just okay, but it was a convenient place to start the day and discuss plans while having a coffee, croissant and fresh orange juice via a self-serve orange squeezing machine. A side note: it’s best to arrive early because towards the end of the breakfast, the croissants have been under a covered bin for a few hours and are no longer crispy. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. If you are looking for Paris charm in a great location, I would definitely recommend Hotel de la Bretonnerie.
Small old hotel but very charming. Great location, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. I will definitely stay there again.
We've stayed a number of times - convenient location and well-priced. A small dislike is that the towels need an update.
Wonderful Marais location with many restaurants and shops nearby. It's an easy walk to the Left Bank and subway. The staff are very helpful and assisted us with police reporting when we had our backpack stolen. Good breakfast as well, in tiny cave like room.
Loved the decor and French feel to the room. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast at the hotel was good value.
Charming hotel in a charming district of Paris. Would stay there again for sure.
Here for a couple of nights while in Paris. Room was very nice - watch out for the wooden beams - an dbed comfortable. Location perfect
