Hotel Casa del Curato

This hotel was betond my expectations The service is tip notch and the hotel is absolutely beautiful.

Stayed in Casa del Curato for 4 nights for a short getaway and really enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent, plenty of great restaurants, you can walk to everything. The staff was really helpful, assisted us with booking the tour, recommended an awesome restaurant to celebrate my birthday and gave plenty of good recommendations for our stay. We stayed in the suite and enjoyed having a larger room with a balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean, air conditioning was cold even when outside temperature got into mid-90s. One thing to mention, not a negative but may matter to people, the mattress in the room was pretty hard although surprisingly comfortable. Overall, a great experience, would definitely recommend!

The hardest bed mattress I’ve ever slept in my life; it’s really uncomfortably tough (at least for us). Small room (2 ft each way around the bed) with very basic appliances in a pretty bad shape (one AC outlet wasn’t working) Extremely poor (slow) in-room internet connection on the second floor Badly designed small shower: the water flows the opposite way from the drains hole. The poor quality bath towels have had better days. Air conditioning is very inefficient for the room size, complemented with a loud and antiquated ceiling fan. Very basic breakfast but tasty. Good location. Very nice people. Prices on the lower end, but you get what you pay for in the area.

This hotel and the staff Indira and Jessica, made our stay in Cartagena a wonderful vacation. The property and the rooms are very clean, in a quiet area but very close to many of the best restaurants in the city. Everything was walking distance, restaurants, shopping, museums, cathedrals and historic sites. Want to be back soon to visit more of the Rosario islands beaches. Breakfast is fresh and made with love ,to order every morning with fresh colombian coffee and fresh fruits and juices Be back with some friends.

Clean, quiet area, safe and close to everything. That is what I look for.

Great location!! Friendly staff, clean, good breakfast. Only but is all the standard suites do not have a window facing the street. All windows in standard suite face the hotel aisle. No privacy if you like natural day light in the room. Bed a little bit fats for me, bit this is a personal preference.

Ideal location in the walled city on a quiet block with easy walking to restaurants, shopping, night life etc. Beautiful lobby with spacious rooms and modern bathroom. In room wifi was terrible but that may have just been our room. Our room also had doors to a patio which was lovely in thought but allowed mosquitoes to ravage us at night. The cooked to order breakfast was nice but had limited vegetarian options.

Amazing location! Walking distance to all the action yet quiet at night. Staff is fabulous and very attentive. Very clean and comfortable. Beds are very hard, if staying a week I’d recommend buying a memory foam topper (very cheap there). Breakfast is amazingly delicious with fresh fruits every day. Fantastic value for your money!
