AKA Wall Street

Great residential hotel! Spacious and clean room with a fully equipped kitchen. Wonderful staff. Great location in the Financial District.

Six gal pals gathered for a fun shopping and playing Mah jong trip with walks and hitting a wonderful spa and eating at great restaurants. AKA was our home away from home in the Financial District. We had tons of fun. I do think however they should change their five night min stay

Very nice apartment-style apartment and great value in FiDi. The premium suite was surprisingly spacious and you can tell the interior designer paid close attention to detail with the appliances (Fisher and Paykel dishwasher, Grohe bathroom fixtures, Rowenta iron, etc.) - top notch. The fitness center was small, but they made great use of the space with quality equipment throughout. The roof top indoor lounge and outdoor patio were also nice with good coffee/tea and snacks (Lenka granola bars). Now the annoyances/areas for improvement. 1. The indoor lounge area tv was set to Fox News with no remote or ability to change the channel. This almost seemed intentional to keep people out of the space. Please rectify this immediately! We did find an employee in the lounge who told us that they don’t keep the remote in the lounge and that the front desk would have to come up and change the channel. He was not very helpful. 2. Coffee/tea was only available until 3pm. Is it difficult/too costly to have this available all day? 3. The light switches in the apartment needed a guide. We couldn’t figure out how to turn on/off a few of the lights. We ended up just unplugging one. 4. Provide a second blanket for curling up on the couch. 5. The elevators were too busy and there was no separate service elevator so you could find yourself in an elevator next to engineer with large pieces of work equipment.

My husband and I found AKA Wall Street to be a wonderful stay with excellent service. Our suite was incredibly spacious (by NYC standards). We had all the amenities we needed, including fridge, stovetop, microwave and even a dishwasher. Free laundering machines were located on the 2nd floor, as well. All the detergents, etc. were also include. The toiletries were high quality and the bed was comfortable. The suite had three separate closets and a safe. Service was very good. They offer a doorman, concierge, and 24/7 assistance with any of your needs. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived (it was 8am!) but they held our luggage and sent an email when it was ready-about 1pm (two hours earlier than standard check in). They likewise held our luggage upon checkout, and we were able to use the hotel’s amenities even after check out. The location is my favorite thing about the hotel. Our view looked like a painting. The lounge and rooftop lounge on the 20th floor were perfect for (complimentary) coffee in the mornings and (byob) wine in the evenings. We could easily walk to everything in lower Manhattan, and the Wall Street subway station was only two blocks away. Cons: I struggled to find anything wrong with this hotel, but there were a few things I would have wished for to make it a perfect stay: -Complimentary kureg cups for the coffee maker & bottled water -A bench in the oversized shower -A white noise machine (NYC is loud) -Turn down service

The apartment was spotless, very comfortable. Great location to explore from.
