"My wife, two sons and daughter--in-law stayed here for one week in early February. While the hotel itself is a little dated compared to the newer hotels in Mexico, the location and the staff are the best I have experienced anywhere. When it was newer, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones was married there. Although it is a little dated, the staff do an excellent job of maintaining it. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and efficient. If I had more space to acknowledge specifics about individuals such as: Mar, Omar, Adi, Ameyuli and Jeffite(sp).
In real estate, they say, "Location, Location, Location!" This resort probably has the best location in Cabo. Most of the rooms face the Pacific Ocean and the three pools. The morning breakfast buffet is at the Don Diego restaurant that overlooks the marina and the entire city. It is an amazing view. The entertainment is also done here as well as the Cupcake Cafe for extra desserts. Several restaurants and bars are located at this ridge top location. So, you have the best of everything with this hotel's views of the ocean, the marina, the dolphin experience pool, and the entire city. Furthermore, it is a quick walk to get to the marina where most of the city’s restaurants and bars are located. If you want a really good Italian dinner, go see Mario at The Kitchen by Nowhere Bar (it will make sense when you get there). I should add that the food in the hotel restaurants was very good. I was never disappointed.
