Tifakara Boutique Hotel & Birding Oasis

The stay was truely memotable. The property is luxurious boutique hotel of 18 rooms , so u get very personable service. Rooms are very clean, spacious with wondefrul view of the rain forest. Very good breakfast and great service. Highly recommend this property

Our favorite part was how isolated the property is, you are staying literally in the jungle and still you are super close to the middle of all of the most popular attractions in La Fortuna. I would highly recommend having a car... it gives you access and freedom to go everywhere.

The staff make you feel welcome . The night frog tour was amazing. Open air showers were unique experience. Definitely would stay here again. Thanks again to the great staff.

Our room was better than expected and my husband and I were already looking forward to our stay in La Fortuna. The hotel Staff, most especially Daniela and Erick, were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The frog pond was charming and the property was gorgeous. The breakfast was great and coffee was available throughout the day, which was nice after a hike or a visit to the waterfall. The recommendations were on point. We opted for an in-room massage from Arestetic Spa. It was PERFECT! They also helped us choose the right hot springs for us. We will definitely stay here next visit.

This hotel was great. The staff was wonderful. We saw 2 sloths the first day. Breakfast was good but did become a little repetitive after 3 days There was always juice, Coffee, tea and snacks out. The hotel was very quiet except for the beautiful birds. we saw toucans one the morning from out outdoor shower which also had views of the volcano. Close to everything if you have a car. Had a good dinner there too.

Beautiful and lush property within walking distance to La Fortuna waterfall. Really enjoyed the big patio to sit and look at the outdoors and read. Breakfast was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The made recommendations for activities in the area and even made reservations for me.

Had a wonderful stay at Tifikara. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked excursions through the staff and all of their recommendations were excellent.

I liked the out of the way peaceful location. There was a sloth right on the property which I enjoyed visiting every day. The property was within walking distance of La Fortuna Waterfall.

The people that work here should teach hospitality to the USA hotels. This is a gem. It’s smaller than I pictured in my mind, but it is wonderful. We felt so comfortable here. I’d like to stay again. hey booked activities for us, had coffee all day in their covered loggia...they would come talk to us and share the fun things to do around La Fortuna. We loved it.

The hotel was beautiful, very unusual, absolutely loved the outdoor shower, you can hear nature all around you. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. If I had to say anything unfavourable I would say the room was a bit small, not really anywhere to but your suitcase except the floor.
